I am not one to criticize you for good , bad or poor choices. But work in my market and be on any drugs and we will find a way to get rid of you. Do not need anyone that is on any illegal substances on a saw and trusted to get the job done. Had to carry a kid to the hospital , about 10 years ago, because he ran over his foot and broke it with a power jack. He was terminated and responsible for the bill. Tested positive for marijuana. Had another one, a few years back, that decided to cut a beef femur bone , for a customer, while the saw was disassembled to clean. Only put the blade on and the top piece and did not follow my instructions not to cut it. nearly broke ( not cut) his thumb off when it spun on him.The bone also flew and hit another new employee , on the head. he was not injured. The dumb ass kid tested positive for Marijuana and alcohol. He was terminated and stuck with the bill for his recovery. You can do as you wish but if it is illegal, we do not want you operating anything in our market and that probably goes for most any responsible meat manager or store director.
It's funny that the "stars" of our store all smoke pot. One of trainers, some cashiers, at least one person in the office, and most of the store. The best part is... they are all the favorities.
