What is the Kroger symbol suppose to represent? It looks to me like a kid in a diaper with a red shirt on top and his flesh colored leg on the bottom. The blue on the left and right, I don't know. I have asked employee's at Tom Thumb and just get strange looks, like "whatever", but I would really like to know. Help me out here. Thanks!!
What symbol or symbols are you refuring to? Been with kroger for 20 years and would like to know which one you are refering to so I can find out. Seen several differant symbols over my time for kroger.

I tried to cut & paste it, but if you go to this Tom Thumb website, http://www.tomt.com/, and look at the banner on the left side, above the "Tom Thumb" you will see what I am talking about. Thanks for responding and I hope you really aren't "Grumpy".

PS Sorry for using your name. I am absolutely new to this sort of thing.
I got it here. I am lost for words on figuring this one out. Where are you located at. In Dallas and Houston areas Tom Thumb is a lasge grocery chain owned be Safeway.
Wrong Tom Thumb. That Tomb Thumb is a small chain of C stores the company bought in the nineties located in Florida . The logo is also being used on Kroger fuel stations.
We travel the great USA and see it all over. Whether it is Turkey Hill, Kroger, Quik Stop, Kwik Shop, Loaf n Jug, we see it. We call it "Diaper Baby" or "Willy Wonka's Gobbstopper". It does give one comfort that a veteran, such as yourself, is stumped also, but somebody out there has to know what this is. Come on folks, help us out!

That's the only location I've seen it used in my area, on the fuel stations.
I do have an email into the corporate office for an answer to the "mysterious logo". Once I get an answer I will post it here. Somebody out there must know the answer to this.
HERE IT IS! THE ANSWER!!!! DRUM ROLL, PLEASE . . . . . . .
Dear Ms. McDonald:
Thank you for contacting Tom Thumb. We appreciate your inquiry regarding the Tom Thumb logo. If you look at the white space in the middle of the colors, you will notice that the outline is in the shape of The United States-where our company and customers are located. The colors are added to be visually pleasing. Please do not hesitate to contact us at 800.576.4377 if we can be of further assistance. Thank you again and have a great day.
Sincerely,
Lori Rump Consumer Affairs
They say you learn something new everyday. Well, I would have never guessed that one, but I can see it!
The white space in the middle is in the shape of the US where The Kroger Company's customer base is located. The colors to the east and west of the US represent blue for the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The colors to the north and south aren't representative of anything specific...just pleasing colors.
