I am a grocery clerk. We have 3 schedules in our back room. We have one schedule by the dairy cooler, freezer, and down by the bathrooms. I am tired of dumb ass managers writing me in on ONE of the schedules and not telling me. If you are gonna write me in then at least write it on all of the schedules!! I got in a huge arguement about this with a manager. Come to find out the Union says that all schedules have to be put into the breakroom. Our store is ridiculous. The idiots at our store just makes me not want to come to the place everyday. Anyone else know my feeling????
I need to find my schedule by going to as many as six different departments. When I worked in the booth we always made sure we had all the schedules, but that doesn't happen anymore. Ask for a phone call the day before they post the schedules. It might seem childish, but it will get your point across.
never had a problem with a schedule in the meat department. I always make enough copies so that every one has one to take home with them.
But have seen many store managers post a schedule in each department and them place a copy of all schedules in the break room so that those working in multiple areas can then just go to one location to write down their schedule for the week.
