Do you mean the red vest?  The floor supervisor vest?  I hate it, its just a glorified bagger to be quite honest!

funny thing...they started making the clerks wear the vest at our store like 3 weeks ago (put up a sign threating disciplinary action if caught out there not wearing it and the benefits of safety and all that jazz) and then the next day a clerk got ran over in the lot.   been working for kroger for 7 years, never heard a clerk getting ran over...but hey, he was wearing his vest.

fyi, it was a low speed backed into situation, he didnt get knocked over...he didnt even fall over, he was fine...so ya its "funny"

at our store they were going to have the grocery associates wear them. that lasted about a week after we all made fun of it. No offense to front end, but that's their BS, if they won't stand up and tell them NO then they should have to grin and bear it (wearing the clown like vest)

I dont like these aprons with a gay rainbow on it. I tore the patch off and place a name tag there instead.

If you don't like the vests that the store provides, go to Walmart and buy one. They are just like the ones that you'll see road worker crews wear. Also, for the cold weather Rural King sells saftety jackets, coats, and gloves. I have all of this and no one tells me any different. Ask your management or supervisor if you can do that.

In order for it to be a gay rainbow, it has to have the seven colors of the visible spectrum in order: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.  Personally I think they and all other groups need to come up with symbols that aren't in the public domain.  Nowadays if a little kid draws a rainbow, adults think the kid must be a member of the lgbtqxyz community.  Maybe the kid just likes rainbows.
