My friend filled out the application online and apparently got black listed from applying. Something about answering one there questions wrong. One of the questions that are like disagree or agree questions. Is there any way for me to help my friend so he can get hired at my store?
Can not say for sure but have had a few hiring coordinators and store managers tell me ( over the years) That if there is a red flag or a former employee that is a no re-hire, that the store director can hire that person , if they want to. But the store director would have to assume any liabilities from the person being hired. Seldom ever seen that happen.
those agree disagree questions you must answer the best sounding choice dont actually pick your true choice thats how i did it. i hate slow old retarded people and minorities but i would never put that down and the reason i was hired was because of those questions.
I was lucky. When I was hired they did not have all these tests and so on. It was a new store opening and they was looking for anyone to work the market part time and do any of the BS, dirty work and Not bitch and complain. That was me. Store director hired me and only asked a few questions. Asked if I ever worked in a market before. Was I afraid to get dirty or bloody? Was I willing to learn and follow orders in a timely manor?
Answered them , was told to sign some things and to be in the market the next day to clean equipment and other crap as he put it.
There is a difference between being "red flagged" and not being "re-hirable"...two completely difference issues. Red flags are up to the Unit Manager. That just means, like you said, they answered a question in a way that maycause an issue. It could be anything from availability to how they handle a fellow employee stealing. Non re-hire-ables, if that is even a word, are an HR thing. They have worked for us once and have done something or shown a value that is totally against Kroger's values. They are not hirable if they fail a drug test or a background check either. If they did fail one of those, or both and they are hired, it was an act of God, or, it's the Presidents grandson...lol
What categorizes someone as non-rehirable. Who makes that decision and can one find out if they are?
When an employee is termed (fired) in kronos, our time/attendance and payroll program, they have to enter info for why or under what circumstances they fired the employee. Some of the codes are classified as rehireable and some blacklist you.
