Is there anything the union can do if there is someone that starts 2yrs. after you and makes $4.10 more on the hr?

What are they a manager, asst. manager. or just the new guy. If they are new they can't make more than you do, they start at the bottom like here in indiana they start out at 7.25 an hour and they will have 6-8 10cent raises I am on my 3rd. Before the min wage went up I was at 6.80 which sucks. But it just depends. I would call the union but I doubt they would help.

That's actually not even remotely true (May be in YOUR contract, but it is certainly not in MINE.. And I started back in June.).... Many people that are hired nowadays get experience pay. I started out as part time at 8.65 hr. And you da*n right, I wouldn't take anything less, with a baby on the way and trying to raise a family. Now as full time I have that raise you get, and make about 9.50 hr. I learned this, due to merely just talking to people at my work that are on the (as we have started labelling it) "old new contract." Then there's "old contract." Then there's us, the 'newbies', "new contract."

If ya got a question about it, refer to your contract, your ASP, and your union.
