I was suspended from work less than a week ago and was told that I was going to be terminated and that I would recieve a letter in the mail telling me so. Without going into details I really doubt I will get a job back and dont really care if i do but I would like to know how long it will take for me to be officially terminated or at least be told one way or another so I can move on. Should I get the union invloved or just let this run its course?
get the union involved, if nothing else, to make them have to work a bit harder. you most likely won't win, but at east you won't be going quitely. as far a s moving, on, yeah, start right now. even if you DID win, it would take months. good luck thou, i havn't found work in 9 months now
can't really give a good response unless you explain why you are being suspended. from the sounds of it, it must be justified. Good luck in your next job and try not to do the same mistakes there as you did with kroger.

I was accused of pleasuring myself in the bathroom (in the stall with another female coworker) District Manager walked in on us
Wow. I would pay for something like that to happen at my store.
I'd get the job search started and the masturbation under control. I could be wrong on this, but Kroger doesn't outright "terminate" people in that they are suspended indefintely until the union decides they want them back. It's kind of a dirty way to fight from paying unemployment.

I was on suspended termination I guess because I didn't call in when I overslept trough the hours I was suppose to work but tree was no one to call to to let know I wasn't coming in? I don't know how I went against policy.
