At the end of the period and/or quarters hours get cut because they are trying to make up for overage during the first of the period and/or quarter.

Management will also get a bonus for using less hours. It's all about lining their pockets and nothing to do with customer service.

Weekly our hrs are posted and they come from corporate so,Iknow for sure ,mangement is not cutting hrs.
I think its a joke when we get "Comapany" and all a sudden over time is not a issue.The sad thing is Ireally like my job but Kroger dosent respect their employees.

If you want more hours quit kroger and get a job else where, as I did now I recieve more than 40 hrs a week. Kroger is full of crooks, and hours are alloted to the ones who have the brownest nose I did not kiss ass and I will never. FUC K KROGER

Kroger cares about kroger not a damn about u. They will use as many poeple as they want with very few hours. They want to get rid of people that been there 10+ years so they can pay some douche bag 7.25 to do the same work as a 12 something an hour did. Cut cost at every counter. Or even better trim that fat off hahaha.
