I ignore our "floor supervisor(red vest)" all the time. My boss is the current office manager and that's the only person i let tell me what to do.
I have been known to tell the office people to get off my back from time to time - say if our carts are low or i need to clean something up but i tell them like "the carts need me more than you do, just look."

but back to topic. this is always going to be a problem, always was at my store. it sucks, but their is nothing you can do.
management picks who they leave in charge, bassed on who they like, not ability. so suck up,s ,teachers pet, and such is going to get the pull. it worse at kroger, but it exist everywhere. just try to ignore who it comes from, i always pretended i was the only employee out of 200 bosses, which wasn't far from the truth, and i diddn't take it personal then
