Ok so I am an employee of kroger for two years now and I have been a supervisor for 7 months now. Well now I want to be moved into accounting and they tell me that they will move me into accounting and then two girls below me who have just this week got floor hours have been moved into accounting. They have not been there for a year yet. I have not got any training hours for accounting. I am also 17. Does my age matter? I am a very responsible supervisor. What should I do roll their hours or what?

It sucks, but not a lot you can do here. rolling hours, is when they take your hours, and give them to someone else,  with less time. i can't help you, with promotions, and stuff, kroger reserves that right, to promote whoever they want.

you can get the union in on it, but i doubt they can do much here

I can take her hours because I have seniority over both of them. And the union contract says that I must be moved up before the people below me. Right?

No. Just because you have more seniority doesn't mean you automatically get to choose where you want to work. You can't take someone's hours if you don't know how to do the job. If the girls start working more checking shifts then you, FS shifts then you can bump for hours.

We are talking about accounting as in working early in the am and counting money right? Or working in customer care?

You are 17, you should be at least 18 to work with that much money if it's not all ready kroger policy it should be. Accounting puts themselves at risk each day them come to work. If anything happens to you while doing accounting, they would be held responsible.
