The main problem I have, at the on set of this thing in WI., is how they are targeting mainly low-end civil servants. Well, EMS, police and teachers are unionized too; how do you differentiate between which class of worker gets screwed? If I were a state highway worker, I could very easily argue "hey, you need us to keep the road infra structure maintained and sound----otherwise, how are EMS, police and teachers supposed to effectively get around?"
And as for my concerns at setting a precedent....Some unions are greedy and worthless. Others are highly productive and necessary; but nearly ALL of them provide decent living wages you can support yourself and a family on. What with corporate America selling out all our jobs over seas, the national economy being based on service field jobs instead of manufacturing----and now this CRAP of trying to deunionize the country---my question is, how do these rich corporations expect to keep making profits when nobody here can afford to buy their goods and services?
The rich can't see the poor, or even the middle class, from their high horses. That's why socialism was born.
......and, as the age-old saying goes: Those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
I see not a major civil war looming, but a multitude of class/religious battles coming. Once the middle class is completely gutted----and that day is woefully closer than most think---the feces is gonna truly hit the air conditioner!
