So, today I got an email from my regional that all meat and seafood managers will be required to attend a series of 3 meetings on Key Retailing wave 5. Which apparently includes some massive update to cao. Fred Meyer is always kinda behind the rest of Kroger in implementing things, so have any of you, fellow forumites, had wave 5 yet, and what ridiculous crap does it contain?
I wonder if that would be the one plus one queuing, where they want one person from each department trained on a register. BTW what does CAO stand for?
It's an overhaul of the telson system. They are changing how ordering is done and going to computer program minimums and set allocations. It's not 3 meetings either, more like 5.

The 1 + 1 Queing thing is called Quevision and isn't under any KeyRetailing wave, as the rollout process is a little different.
