Saw something posted by the time clock yesterday: A letter from a safety coordinator with a message of how the union was spreading false information for employees not to sign the new "safety policy" because it was signing away workers compensation.
Attached was a sign from the UFCW that suggested employees not sign and reiterated that the only thing you were required by law to sign was for your paycheck. The next thing attached was a message from Kroger stressing the importance of safety and that by signing you would not be waiving your right to workers compensation.
I haven't seen the "safety policy" yet but I am definitely not signing it. What say ye?

We have one of those union "do not sign" posters by our time clock. It said that it's huge and no one, not even management, could remember all the steps and signing could lead to termination if you miss even a single step.
Safe to say that I will never under any circumstances sign anything management gives to me. ever.
