it's frowned upon. No supervisors/manager dating employees.

There are two people in the store I'm at who are married to each other.

I met my husband when I started working at Kroger. It's the only good thing that ever came from working at the hellmouth. Though, no one bothers us because I'm a cashier and he's (now) the meat department back up.

It's not unheard of. Like Barada said, don't let it interfere with work.....This can prove challenging, as most fk-ships can go wrong faster than you can say "she's lying!!"

Where I work, it's so common that it's almost expected. After all: particularly if you're management, you spend at least one third of your year at your store. Where best to find available pussy? It's mathematical. Last year I had a fling with a dept. manager from another store. Coulda gone south on me, but I was lucky in that she wanted nothing more from the relationship than I did: a lil' strange~~

I've been dating one of the other clerks in my department (non-foods) for months now. The only problem I've come across with it is that everyone knows your business and spreads it around. Produce knew we were going out before we knew we were going out. Also, you tend to hear unwanted details of each other, her having worked there for 4 years she may have slept with a couple guys in the store (I don't care, I wasn't dating her at the time) while I was gone for 3 and just came back. All of her private business has flooded me, as if I give a **** what she did before me.

Keep social life and work-life separate. All it does is just distract you from getting anything done. It's very bad for business and may even cost you your only job.
