i am tired of bagging food . their was a cashier position open but some guy got it because he was could work full time even though the paper said part time evenings and weekends like i down now. i just want a new position cashier would be nice. how to you find out what position is opened at other stores
Well at least at fredmeyer the job postings for both districts one and 2, which is the portland area, are posted on a board in the break room in every store ive ever been in. They are updated 3 times a week. I would look for the posting list or talk to your hr person and tell them you are interested!
i bagged groceries for 2 years 16-18 and was always passed up for a cashier position, and new hires always got it before me. i asked them to train me many times amd applied for the cashier spot 3 times. i dont know what it was and it was not age because most of the cashiers where 16-18 years old.
