WTF. 16.98. That's a 101% increase. Do they think i am i MADE of money?

Only way I'm even considering a union job is if the pay is over $20.00 per hour, FULL time, and with FULL benefits.....and even then, you better believe I'm gonna research the hell out of their strike activity history.

I.e.: It ain't likely gonna happen. Not with this current economy, where jobs are too scarce and anyone who doesn't qualify for a good college education, OR public assistance, is basically screwed into accepting what they can to get by on.

Meanwhile, I be damned if I'M gonna feed a machine that don't do SHEEIT for me except collect a big part of my hard earned pay check~

Have you had anytime off?  Sometimes they forget to take to union dues out of your pay when your on vacation then double up the next week.

 actually yes. I took a vacation oct 23-29. looking back at my paystubs they didn't take out for that week.

mystery solved.

I do, however, hear that they will be increasing dues Jan 1st.

They came into Kroger a while ago asking about giving an extra dollar or two per week for political campaign support. :/
