i have a question. how long can you be on sick leave at kroger? our department manager has been on leaves more than anyone i know. the first year i was there she was on leave. the whole year. the second year she worked 6 months of that year and this year she has worked 4 months and still off. i dont understand it..she doesn't have cancer or any major illness. shes a hypochondriac... constantly sick..should kroger put up with this

Well, I'm sure HR has looked into the issue and if any 'wrong-doing' was done by the associate, HR will catch this. I would focus on the upcoming holiday and the sales opportunities, and don't think I'm trying to be a stuck up a**hole, but I've seen similar incidents at my store, and for the past 4 years my store has been on "Auto-Pilot" meaning the associates are running the show...not the management.
