That Fiscal period of the year.

This next month is the last fiscal period of the year for Kroger. This is the one where everyone has to cut to the bone on hours and dollars spent on supplies and inventory to make it all look good for the Corporate big wigs. So my manager says we need to cut another 100 hours from the Grocery Dept. for next weeks schedule, we have inventory on Tuesday next week. So we will be front loading the week and then cutting back to make sure we don't go over hours. I have been telling my associates to just make it look good on the front side for the customers. Don't worry about looking good alll the time in the back.

Any one else having lots of fun with hour cut backs?

Here's another good example...
Sunday Night - Grocery Truck - 2 man Night Crew
Monday Night - Grocery Truck - 1 man Night Crew
Tuesday Night - Peyton Grocery - 2 Man Night Crew
Wednesday Night - Grocery Truck - 2 Man Night Crew
Thursday Night - Peyton Grocery - 2 Man Night Crew
Friday Night - Grocery Truck - 1 Man Night Crew
Saturday Night - Peyton Grocery- 1 Man Night Crew

My Point...Not enough hours to put the truck up. Haven't finished the previous load when the next one rolls in!
