Does anyone know the default format for an express hr password?This is the first time I've tried to log in to the system.I tried going through the password help option but it keeps saying that the information that I input is incorrect,and none of the information has changed since I was hired a few months ago.

When did you try it last? Have you tried it several times? It is down about everyday for maintiance.
Its the same as your euid login, for ISP, service plus etc. if you've never used those systems then find out your euid, and go to any company computer. Find a link for passport, you'll be able to reset your passwords there.
