it depends on the position you were hired for. i was hired part time then on day 2 mgt overheard my experience and bumped me to full time. all i can say it be willing to come in anytime they call you in, show interest in learning more for example if hired as a bagger show interest in register then self check out then floor sup or customer care. the more you know the better your chances are at getting full time quicker. it will be a long road more than likely. just hang in there!
You're better off going to work somewhere else if you want full time. It took me five years to get full time and that was nearly 20 years ago. I hear it's even harder now. Kroger doesn't want full time people. They'd rather have a revolving door of part time people who work for a short while and then move on.
I think it took me around a year to get full time. But I have been the company 17.5 years now... Back then it was alot easier to get full time than it is today.....
