I wrote a post some time back about managaement bitching me out about the way they think I should bring in carts. I've been only pulling them up and filling rows and I pull them apart from another if needed. I even told this to management. Well, I was yelled at again and got threatened for suspension. And yet I've noticed that the slacking *******s don't go to get them and get away with it.
The second time I was yelled at was I had to take a frozen reclaim back. I had to make a quick pit stop and help a few customers. When I got back I was interrogated about who I was talking to. And yet I've noticed once again the slacking *******s get away with it.
Apparently hard work is punished and laziness is rewarded. It makes me wonder where did things go wrong.
welcome to today's workplace. the harder you work the more your boss rides you to do more. They've stopped trying to get the slackers to work and only attack those that do.

Many things in my store are so wrong that 99.9 of the people hae coming to work. Yes We can get another job but as we all know it hard out there and when you have time invested its even harder.
We had big-wigs come in yesterday and I was voicing my concerns and of course managemen had to but in. Trying to gloss everything over.
Maybe just maybe for my problems things will get change for my shop has never looked soooooo bad and they even knew the different. Which is good.
Maybe it wont help me today but hopefully soon for the way the store is running now the sales are great but the employees are on there last nerve.
well like s that is pretty much the norm as others had said previously but I learned a long time ago with Kroger- NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!
if u r nice, friendly, engaging and helpful then ur gonna be like the Shell Answer man to the customers.. and if you're busy helping them like ur supposed to do if asked, then like u say the slackers who stay put and loaf as much as possible actually hafta work a lil harder to cover while ur gone.
sounds like a unhealthy work environment for u- if u sincerely like helpin and talkin to customers then ud best find another place to work since from what u describe they have already pre-judged u as untrustworthy to work on ur own. sounds like u'd make a good waiter/waitress and surely would make mo money and some good tips from appreciative diners
