Employee Survey
Permalink

Ok, I went to the store today as a customer and ended up talking to my manager, and she gives me a paper that is this employee survey. Basically, you have to rate yourself on how you feel you're doing in several categories (superior, acceptable, or developing skills) and then the supervisor will mark it as well on how they feel. She showed me that everyone has one so i have to turn it in asap.

Has anyone else done one of these? What happens when you do one of these?

Um for the record I didn't do it, she just gave it to me and told me to turn it in next time i come in.
Any real responses now that the trolls are out of the way?

adults don't do homework. Fill it out when you clock in. I recommend all 1s.

I agree w/ the other posters. Fill it out when you're on the clock, and when both of you have finished w/ rating it, ask for a copy.

sounds like some serious propaganda- which means there is a hidden agenda there. whatever you do rate urself high! they'd luv to have some lemming score theirself low so they can use it against u later.

any decent fair minded company would not subject you to this BS. Kroger luvs to put u on the defensive and instill self-doubt. basically a program bought by general office that they will be able to use to micro-manage and justify key retailing and Q vision type programs. before long the only type workers that will fit their employee model will be the blindly obedient that accept any and all mandates and wouldn't dare question the dumbing down processes they are implementing.

Rate Urself High and Score Them Low!

Sounds more like our yearly employee evaluation, not an associate survey.

no, it's nothing. Unless they are looking for a reason to fire you. If you sign it - request a copy.

Where I am, only Dept. Heads and Backups evaluate themselves and the Dept. Head does the evaluation of other employees in their Dept.

They had me do that. I gave myself a lot of 3s or 4s, and they gave me pretty much the same thing. Never expect a perfect on anything, because they're *******s who believe that "there's always room for improvement."
