Today someone showed me something. They showed me something that was on the computer that someone from GO or where ever they typed it. It was wrote on nthe screen like this "CoFFeMAte" something like that. Anyway these people get paid alot and they make typo's like that? This person told me it's not just this one time. They told me it always happens. I think it was something they have to print out. But this person said they always see things like this and they have to edit it thereself and it takes time.
Whenever a sign gets posted by management at my store, it's not uncommon to find typos. In fact my first store manager, you could tell how mad he was when he posted a letter by the amount of typos.
The more typos the madder he was. Come on don't they know how to use a spell checker?

Really! U find this something worth creating drama over? Just so u know many times they are doing this on purpose to catch your eye so you won't just delete it. Apparently it works because it caught ur attention. If you're like most of us we get lots of emails covering everything from soup to nuts and it's very easy to delete one u should have read.
So as REDICUCAS as this seems to you maybe it's even more REDICULOUS that ur worried about something so trivial when u could be out on the salesfloor engaging customers and doing an entire store sPeLliNg and gRamMaR check!

This was not a sign. I believe it was on the computer screen. This person just showed me. The program does not have spell checker. If it did there would be no error. It was the blue screen with the white writeing. I beleive it was something to do with orders I do not know. All I know is she showed me all the errors they make. The bad thing is the people who type it out make more money. Then they leave it for the people in the stores to correct.
you are probably talking about ESTP, the program used to print those yellow signs that hang in promotional sections and endcaps. i agree this program is pretty terrible; you'll often get an output like "4PK CTNL TS" for the 4-pack of cottonelle tissues, or "KROCB YGT" for kroger carbmaster yogurt.
a lot of times it doesn't really do the prices correctly either, say you have a $5 item that is buy one get one free this week. the ESTP sign won't say that, it'll just give you another crappy acronym description and list the price as $2.50 - when this is not consistent with what's posted in the newspaper it leads to a lot of confused customers. this is something i have to deal with on a regular basis and it is piss poor software design imo
