This Kroger forum currently is comprised of 27 regular users + the sporadic anonymous posters. Take any thread on here then look at its views. A good thread will get around 160 + views. So on a thread with 4 or 5 responses to it, the other 20 users will re look numerous times. My point- nobody comes here or gives a s¥it about this forum but a few. So my advice to you is don't try to overglamourize your silly argument about my supposive agenda. I don't have one. As far as the spammer - don't pass the blame onto others. It is you who did it. You (unfortunately) are part of this group. You can not post your porn anymore & you like coming here like a c0ckroach likes filth. I get it. Your a prick. Plain & simple. I don't call you that b/c I am mad. I call you that b/c you obviously like to rock the boat and shake the tree. Attention All Posters: Let it be known that our world class moderator aka "the DUDE" has recently had his feelings hurt by bullies that refuse to sign up and give him their email address. Tread lightly as this not so benevolent moderator king will censor and delete any posts when they hit close to home or if they question his ulterior motives.

Your mistake, thedude, was telling people you had mod powers. You're just got a big target on your head. The only way to stop it is to just silently ban, delete, and sanitize the forum and not call attention to yourself.

yea bagboy - i'm pretty much aware of that. look - one day i got pissed off about the a$$wipe who was porn spamming the board so I called up Sparklit Networks and had a nice conversation with a rep there. they saw all the crap that was being posted - i mean it was rather obvious wasn't it once you looked a little LOL. So instead of having them spend their valuable time going thru the posts doing a clean-up / and locking out permenantly the IP addresses of the abusers, it was suggested that I can be the mod and do the clean-up. Trust me, I knew I could silently do it but sooner or later you all woulda realized that the porn posting have stopped and figured it out. So instead, I told you all up front. No biggie. As we all know, everyone is happy to see the porn go and this forum back on track. And every one also knows that there is always a trouble maker or two out in the mix. Who cares. Screw them right!

And um "getting ip addresses" doesn't make him a spy. As a forum mod, he can see ip's because that's how Activeboard.com works. I've used Proboards for years and yea, forum admins can see ips. No special "HR trickery" there geez :/
really glad someone finally stepped up to clean up this once great forum. I think it could be again now that its under control. I stopped coming around because of all the sick porn pics.
Thank you dude, you probably single handedly saved this forum just because you cared enough to get involved. I may not agree with every post on here but I do love to see dfifferent views on things and you know ever now and I learn something new which is why I started coming here to begin with.
I for one have no problem with you as moderator and as for my ip, lol, anyone who thinks your a company spy has obviously never read your post, lol.

yeah, weve had managers get on here before, ussually posting as anoymous posters, to stir up trouble, and make this place useless, but as far as a coperate spy, please, if kroger thought ANYTHING that could be of intrest happned here, they would have it shut down fast.
they don't care about what we think, or we wouldn't need a site to vent about how sucky the company is !
Wal-Mart DOES have corporate spies for their anti-publicity web sites, as does Target. Kroger, I'm not sure about---- tho there's no way The Dude is operating under that capacity.
I got called to bear for simply posting POSITIVE things about my company; I was stunned to silence. I never once identified myself on that site in terms of my job. I wasn't in trouble, but the message was clearly sent: stay off those web sites. And I was on one you seriously have to go searching for.
For these reasons, I well understand why some posters here chose to remain anonymous. As for anyone having access to your real name via your e mail account, that's simple enough: create one with a fake name. Last I heard, tracing an I.S.P. to a particular account holder's name requires a court order on the level of a Title 7 wire tap, and c'mon, that AIN'T gonna happen unless you're suspected of domestic terrorism by the N.S.A.
Back to start, people should just do what most already know to do: use common sense on these sites, don't post anything you fear might come back on you personally.
