Shame shame shame on kroger using team stocking guide and stressing older employees out in making the times and writing them up when they don't make the times and not giving employees enough time to learn the guides, Shame shame on kroger for letting the young managers or formans making a name for themselves to put the older stockers in the most heavy isle to stock at night and to the order takers to not do the ordering right so one night it is a 1000 piece load and the next night it is 2500 piece load but not taking that into considration for the employees that have been there a long time, Shame shame on kroger KS for doing age discrimnation in the name of business.
Kroger has no shame on how they treat their employees in the stores - they use smoke and mirrors to get phony awards like one of the greatest places to work, jump on all the current media causes, donate to big name charities, etc whatever it takes or costs to give the appearance that they are a caring and Christian principled company. But those of us who have worked for them for couple decades or longer know very well how they really are. The entire focus nowadays is to keep reporting higher profits every quarter, every year vs last year- never accept a plateau always demand more, more, and more profit dollars. Turn the screws in every possible place to squeeze out evry last cent- damn the store employees, damn the vendors, and in essence damn the customers. Pity the poor employee who hired in a young, strong person and now hitting their 50's and their body wore out from 30 yrs of physical labor - the guidelines are set to kill you off as you age or if you're lucky u'll become disabled and get to see a retirement that way.
You're absolutely right it's a DAMN SHAME the way Kroger treats their long term and older employees- THE ONLY THING THEY TRULY CARE ABOUT IS MORE AND MORE PROFIT! ISN'T GREED ONE OF THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS? IF SO THERE'S A TON OF WORKAHOLIC- KROGER IS GOD- UPPER MGMT. TYPES IN A WHOLE LOT OF TROUBLE AS THEY AGE!
I faked that ****. Once I learned that the task list gives laughable amount of hours per week for common tasks, I couldn't even fake taking it seriously. It budgeted my dairy department 5 hours a week to work backstock. Less than an hour for cleaning. It was a ****ing joke. They want you to flood it with useless trivial tasks to make enough time for an entire day, I guess. Didn't matter anyways, because they never took a good look at them when KR checks came.
I fudge mine. As long as the time equals how long i was on the clock who cares. I am not going to stop and write down times every time i complete an aisle. I worked for small retail chains and dollar stores that were less backwards than this place is.
so ur saying ur turnin in false data to get by? well guess what Kr may be slow to discover and even slower to react but rest assured ur day of reckoning will come --- then ur fudge will be packed - Kroger Means Better Meat!
