we are going to training for this and i am kind of excited, but there is not much of a big difference, beside kroger is getting back into the check cashing business.
I am going to training tomorrow for this and I am excited but nervous too! Seeming I've been doing the same thing everyday for almost two years.. Change is always good but hopefully this new thing is better than the old way! :)
"Customer Care" has now become "Guest and Money Services" at the store I'm at. The change occurred about a week and a half ago. Before, the area around Customer Care was open and easy to walk up to. Now it's a cluttered mess with money services displays, phone displays and a somewhat narrow roped-in corridor like section for people to wait in line in. It's very unattractive and pretty much impossible for people in the motorized shopping carts to navigate through. I've had customers ask me, "what happened to Customer Service? Where is it now?"
Everyone that works behind the desk was supposed to go to an eight-hour meeting a couple of weeks ago, but only half of the people ended up being scheduled to go and none of them were scheduled for the follow-up meeting, so there's been some confusion over what's changed and what's not. But hey, the important thing isn't getting trained properly... what matters most is that everyone that works behind the desk all got their fancy new name tags on time!
