I signed for union fees to be taken out of my check once a paycheck, but that was during orientation and before they told me we were getting paid weekly. Since then I have told both the union rep and Krogers that I do not wish to pay these fees anymore but to no avail. They are telling me to wait a year and then get back with them. Deos any one have any comments on this issue? Thank you

Pretty sure!!!!!  Someone (and most Kroger employees can't tell me who!) is taking $520. + a year out of your pocket; at least on paycheck a year if not more; and your just "Pretty Sure???"   You get what you deserve!!!    Can anyone out there tell me what union represents Kroger employees?  May of the people I know who work for Kroger can't get 40 hours a week or benefits. Some powerful union!!?? Thank you Barack Insane for making this all possible!!!

Did you proof read this remark you made? I can see you used English as a language but I'm really having a difficult time understanding your point. Just saying!

funny people want to compare kroger to walmart I know a lot of people who work at both places and people who work for kroger are miserable while people who work at walmart are pretty happy. I know people at walmart that get their schedule weeks in advance and always have 40 hours.

If you are so behind the times that you think a union or anything else offers job security in this day and age your a fool.  A union is a sub- business that makes its cash from your willingness to pay them for your work.  Todays world has no job security.

For a real full time job with real pay and real benefits and a real union, sure I'd pay union dues.

For 20 hour only dead end retail hell with a completely absent and uninterested union, an hours wage is way too much.

Probably written by a union rep.
