One of my coworker is making a big fuss because she has more seniority than me and I am moving to the office. She cannot move to the office because she is dating a office member and she works as a cashier and as a floral clerk. She is trying to get the union. What to do. her name Jennifer Arrick
There's really nothing she can do because working in the office still falls under the classification of front end and working in the office is not a posted position. Seniority means nothing in this case. It's whoever is right for the job. It would be like someone in the bakery department making a fuss because an employee with less seniority was made a cake decorator and they're still stuck bagging bread. Now if she wanted to move to a completely different department then seniority would prevail.
Please explain what this office work is? I am at Ralph's (the company that floats Kroger) and we have no such nonsense.
Office in the store?
Seems like more wasted labor the kroger way.
Lets not fill the shelves, there is no hours but we got hours to do redundant paper work!
Office? in a market. LMFAO. Book keeper needed and thats all, especially when your bookie is good.
In my area the "office" is the Customer Service Desk- returns, exchanges, problems on the receipts, money orders, western union, lottery, etc. are all handled by those and only those who work in the "office" at my store they also help make sure the front end associates get their breaks, clear lot & clean the bathrooms, clean up spills in the store & do reshops/takebacks/groc items that customers decided they did not want when they got to the front of the store.
