Is running the service desk easy. Need some advice my first time is in a week. Also is their any computer training

There should be some CBTs you can take. No, it's not easy, but it's a way to move up in the hierarchy. Also, it lets you learn things that can make other parts of the job easier.

Whats hard about it?  Stand there smile and pretend you like your job and the customer and open up checkstands.

 

Go throw some freight on night crew with the bull**** hours that are alloted and tell me about hard.

 

The front end always gets to many hours.

 

What the hell is a CBT?  Is that like an ACT module.  Training bull**** on the computer that is a total waste of time?

And no, the front end doesn't get too many hours. Ours get cut just like yours, seems like every week. And running the desk means that everything that goes wrong in the ENTIRE store just became your problem to fix. Which can be very tiring unless you realize that you can only fix what you can fix and 99% of what's left is the customer's fault anyway.
