I can't believe Local 540 did this, but I should expect it none the less. They have truly sold the younger generations out on this contract. It was mentioned that I can never get more than 1 PERSONAL HOLIDAY since I was hired after June 13, 2004. How could Local 540 allow them to add this into the contract? I hope we really ramp things up on the next contract or go on strike.

the union has lost all it's teeth, and no longer cares
all the "hard working union members" are nowadays are someone to pay the salary for the "man" who in my area keeps jobs for those who dont deserve to have them so of course they do not care why should they? they are getting theirs who cares about the working man?
