Dead cat
Permalink

This morning there was a dead cat at the fuel center. I was asked to go get it. I walk out to the fuel center. Guts are hanging out of it. I kinda freaked out. I knew anyway it was illegal to throw dead animals in the dumpster. So I called 911 and explained. I was told to call the city and was given the #. I called the # given and no option for the sanitation. I over reacted a little told the 911 person to just please call the sanitation because that # was no option for sanitation. She calls the store manager and saids for us to take care of it. So I get a big shovel and chuck it in the dumpster. I just thought I would share this. It does not have anything to do with Kroger really. I have my own opion on things and I feel like 911 should have just dispatched the correct people. I pay my taxes for them to do their job and all they do is sit in doughnut shops eating doughnuts and drinking coffee.

hmmm.....

not sure if 911 was set up to take calls over animal carcass.  and hey, that is sorta reachin far on normal job duties.  next time.... get a shovel; head back into the store for a box;  rip off some wood on a pallet and get some string from bakery to make a cross;  get on the intercom and announce that there will be a burial service going on at 9 am behind the fuel center and all denominations are welcome to attend.

NO NO NO!!!

Paying for their salary doesnt come close to the profits you can add to your store>company by taking care of it yourself!

Have you cleaned restrooms before? The average restroom caries 9,000 bacteria a sq in. youve faced the worst of it all!

all you had to do was get regular latex gloves, tossed only the intestines and called the Kroger-IBP sales dept and requested a shortdated/return on beef meat.

Depending on how long the cat has been sitting out dead, if the meat is lighter, call the Local Kroger Value chicken distributor in your area and do the same.

Toss the "Chicken/Beef" in the freezer and wait until the next shipment comes in to send it back. But make sure you have your RMA# (return Authorization) on the item so the driver wont give

you a hard time.

What you get in return is Credit. Equalling Profit for your store. Sales= more hours= more happy customers= A more Happy YOU!
