Yea. The rockstars turn your urine into highlighter fluid. Those had a horrible taste but worked best. 5hrs are good but drink them with food in your stomach. No crash but has you looking like some guy on crack.
This reminds me of Sheets energy sticks. The comercials are funny. They say things like.
When I get up I take a sheet.
Before I go to work I take a sheet.
When I am flying my plane I take a sheet.
One of my managers told me about the comercials he said some people it sounds like when they say sh** it sounds like there saying sheet. So he thought it was funny.
Best energy drink I've ever found is the oldest: COFFEE.
100mgs of caffeine per cup, with no crazy additives like dessicated octopus vagina or tincture of rhino testicles or whatever the hell these 'energy drinks' have in them~~
I'm suprised that Kroger has not came up with their own brand of Energy Drink.
That is a little weird. They could sell them right next to the Kroger brand Vitamin Enhanced Water Beverage. Half of the flavors would be undrinkably bad, but the rest would be decent.
There is such a thing as Kroger energy shots, though. They tend to be about half the price of 5 Hour Energy.
They don't sell because they are in the wrong spot. At my store, they are located in the pharmacy area next to the Ensure type beverages. You know how much Grandpa loves energy shots . At my store, it's also near the end of the very last aisle so no one goes over there. If they were in the checkout lanes, we'd sell tons of them.
We had a rolling rack of them for a couple weeks. They placed it towards the back of the store so it blocked off half of one of the greeting card aisles. Genius.
As for flavors, the lemon is underflavored and terrible.
The apple isn't bad, but seems to be inconsistently flavored. Some are almost unflavored, and some are bottles of concentrated apple deliciousness.
The peach mango is pretty good, and the berry whatever is the best.
Sometimes I will pour one into my Mountain Dew when I need some kick.
i personally have never enjoyed a energy drink. to me i got the belief that most of them are full of crap just like diet soda has embalming chemicals in it (aspertame).
now i have heard that 5 hr energy is ok.
