Supposedly they determine how long it takes the average worker to do every task by filming many different people and taking averages of the time it takes them.
it forces my stock crew to rush breaking their trucks down not placeing items on the floats in the right order so i do not have to walk up and down the isle everytime i pick up a case......... every truck night feeling the presure of gettin everything done 275 plus cases some nights for just my main aisle which is 6 bakeing goods salad dressing etc. then have to meet other two stockers on aisle 3 pasta.soups.chinese.mexican food aisle i always get it all done but i know it can be done faster if we just didn't feel presured too hurry and rush through every single thing we do i could do that same 275 cases in three hours (have did it before) when i have the floats stacked perfect. time spent is time earned that time used to stack the floats right off the truck can make it go so much faster
i have also asked the guy we all know him who slacks off when breaking the truck down just standing around not trying to be in the way to take the floats out and start spoting the items for aisles i know we have a ton of cases for
