Recently at my store weve been having an office person come over the PA and say "all associates, time to rebound" at the top of every hour. Were supposed to stop what where doing, condition our department so the managers can do an hourly walk through. Never mind that were trying to work orders, help up front, now were suppossed to condition every hour.
They tried that here but it didn't go over. In the bakery department alone we have one person filling up the cakes, one person filling bread, pies, and cookies, and another person filling the pre-made items. It takes each one of them about an hour to get everything filled and looking nice. You can't expect them to get it back in tip top condition after half a day's business in just a few minutes.

LOL! At my store they are announcing "all depts hc, all depts hc please" it is getting done at my store! the store manager makes sure its done!!! It does suck but if you can get everyone on board in your dept it only takes 5 min. My dept is frontend so I check outside my backup checks candy, magazines and my accounting person checks coolers & movies. its not too bad and its not going away-like key retailing!

You must work at a very small store with a low customer count. I work at a store with one of the highest customer counts.
