Kroger is recalling spinach sold at grocery stores in 15 states due to possible Listeria contamination.

The Fresh Selections Tender Spinach was sold in 10-ounce packages and had a "best if used by" date of Sept. 16. The grocer said Wednesday that if customers did buy the recalled product, they should return it to stores for a full refund or replacement.

Listeria can lead to severe illness for women who are pregnant or people who have a weakened immune system.

The Kroger Co. said the product was sold in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska. The recall involves its Kroger, Jay C, Owen's, Pay Less, Scott's, Food 4 Less, Dillons, Baker's and Gerbes stores in selected states.

You're welcome!

And Yes, I'd like my milk in a bag....I do not want the milk jug sweating all over the upholstery of my car seat, or the sand from the floor mat sticking to the milk jug.

I keep my truck clean. That is why I don't want the milk jug sweating condensation all over my seat, and as to the sand on my floor mats, it's inevitable given the Kroger I work for is only 3 blocks from the ocean.

My Kroger does not hire those big parking lot sweeper trucks to clean/vaccuum our parking lot, like the other businesses do around us.....just put the milk in a bag.

Earlier this week in South Carolina, we had a recall for the sliced, packaged mangoes from Mexico.
