Team Stocking Guides Being Phased Out.

I just saw on KTV this morning that Kroger is now starting the process of phasing out the team stocking guides. Not sure how long it will be until it trickles down to every store. Guess it took them this long to realise that every one just fudges the numbers and it is a complete waste of time. They are saying now that we need to be spending more time in the department to figure out why we have holes and out of stocks. Less time on computer putting in useless numbers that no one cares about. The reason my department has holes is because of warehouse screwups. Mispicks are a big problem. I spend way too much time dealing with warehouse mistakes and screwups.

Here in California, the TSG is gone as of last week.

BUT - It is not totally gone, now we have the DDP Daily Department Planner!

Another brilliant program.

In the mid south we are using the ddp as well now. It is a glamourized version of a spread sheet our old grocery m.r. used to have us fill out in addition to the tsg til he got tired of doing the work on his end. The bull**** they conjure up doesn't baffle me...it makes me laugh. They are the most inept bunch of idiots ever.....they work like congress. They do little if any work at all... blame the workers for any and all problems and keep on  grabbin all the cash they can. SCREW EM.

Can't you see what their plan is?  They think that if they can keep coming up with more and more assinine ideas the full time people will get fed up enough to quit.  The stores will be totally run by part time people who will have at most two or three years experience.

the best part of their plan is having all these inexperianced kids and under paid adults running the stores. You can see it coming already. It is beautiful. They are definately gonna reap some big rewards for their efforts...NOT!!!! They are so hung up on suckin in that cash that they fail to realize that eventually their customers will start going to walmart because they know that there is no customer service but at least its a helluva lot cheaper than kroger. Of course kroger blames inflation to the rise in their products cost.....all the insurance they pay out and  and on and on.....but we are way overpriced on some items and kroger wants to push even more overpriced items on the consumer. I guess when your out of touch and overpaid you think every one else is. UGGGGHHHHHHHHH.
