They got the concept from our Fred Meyer stores. Now you Kroger folk are rolling out home goods and clothing to marketplace stores. Wave of the future! "One stop shopping" as we call it

This can only be good for Kroger. Healthy competition = a stronger market. When everyone has to step up their game, both the consumers and employees come out ahead.

-----I should have prefaced that with 'ideally', as I think the only ones who will really benefit from this are the usual suspects: Corporate America and the Chinese manufacturing owners~

I live close enough to make a trip over there to check it out. I think it's a smart move, as long as it's done right and they don't "Wal-Mart it up".

 always said that the only think that keeps kroger from being the next Walmart ( as far as treatment of its employees ) is the unions. Take out the unions and they will change and become the new walmart

 Of course, take out the unions altogether, and you become the next China...simple as that! Did anyone read the recent story online about the Foxconn plant there and the IPhone 5...Look it up!
