Seems that even an old fart like me can leard something new. Always thought there should be a way to do something about the unions when they fail to represent you. called the NLRB and they are sending me out a few forms for complaints about the union failing to represent  and other problems. both my complaint and the one for local 1000 member is legit and they want my information to look into the two charges.

Nice to know that there is a legitamate place to file complaints against your local for failure to represent and for threats of board action for helping a fellow member.
