There's three bathrooms in the store . The two in the employee lounge which are both fine . The problem is the bathroom downstairs that the customers use . The bathroom smells like pee but a strong pee , I would compare it to cat pee . Doesn't matter what you do it smells . You can wash it from top to bottom and 15 minute later it stinks again . 95% of the employees don't use it , everybody runs upstairs that's how bad it is . The customers aren't smart enough to know there's a bathroom upstairs so we always get complaints. And the fact that the bottle room is right next to it doesn't help either . The bottle room is next to the meat department . So it's all kinds of stink back there . Anybody else's bathroom smell ?
The customers' bathroom is the worst smelling bathroom I've ever been in. I go on my breaks outside and I usually stop by the bathroom afterwards, and the customer bathrooms are right near the door. I was going in for a while, but the smell is just so bad in there that I've started to walk all the way to the back to use the employee bathroom. Ugh. Plus more often than not the customers don't flush and it's just gross in there. The employee bathroom always smells good and they're generally clean.
Never ever let the customers kbnow the re is a restroom upstairs. If you do they will soon start to smell. I mean someone will messit up. Sounds like there could be a plumbing problem. But it may not be that.
Soneone told me every day when they change the sanitary things in the womens stalls they find dirty panties. I mean panties that has poop in them. They said they can smell it. Why would someone do this? I can see a child having an accident but why leave it there? It is really gross and smell's really bad.
Senior day ends with one of the co-mgrs cleaning the poop off the floor in the customer's men's room. Every tuesday, without fail. In general, our bathrooms can be kinda stinky, but are clean. One time a lady fell on her way into the bathroom. One of the front-enders was cleaning and some of the floor cleaner went under the door and left a slick spot that the lady stepped in. When we had her situated she said she still had to pee and could she use the men's room. I helped her in and stood outside the door and when she came out she said it was cleaner in there than it had ever been in the ladies room. Women are gross, I don't care what anyone says, at least men don't leave bloody menstrual products scattered.
