Employee discount, void, print-out

Krogers Employee discount is a joke. An "Employee Discount" would mean that is something exclusive only to Kroger Employees. Its basically a "Senior Discount".

1. Exactly what buttons do I press for the 5% employee discount when ringing up customers who are also employees?

2. How do I void an item that scanned twice?

3. How do a print-out if the customer just wants to check the items before I get to the total?

1- As far as I know, the employee discounts should all be automatic, except for the "spend x amount, save x percent on an order next month" deals.

2- Usually, hitting VOID then ENTER will take off the last item rung up. If not, just hit VOID, then scan the item again.

3- 15 then SIGNON will print a partial receipt.

5% Discount? Thats it? Goodness Kroger is such a damn tightwad. At FredMeyer we had 10% off private label, 10% off Nutrition (Healthy Choices) dept, 15% off home, 10% off electronics and 20% off apparel.

But now I work at Whole Foods, we get 20% off everything. Including liquor! And can increase that to 30% if you do well on a health screening. Since I generally shopped there anyway, I save a bunch of money now. Kroger discounts should be at least 10% off across board. Just another example of how much Kroger hates its employees.

I get 10% at my store too. Maybe it depends on your union contract? I'm not sure.

The employee discount should be automatic at the register.  It's tied to their Kroger card number.  Those cards are tracked carefully for abuse.

Discounts are only on Kroger brands like "Kroger" and "Private Selection."  At my store we get 10% on those.  It helps.

15 and Sign-On prints a receipt in progress like if you need to check a price for a coupon that requires you to write it in.  We've be told those partial receipts always have to go into our till.

I just hit Void and rescan.  Void and Enter seems to fail more often than not.
