I'm on short term medical disability from work but still am an employee. I hit my one year mark on the 21st. Do i still get my vacation?Nothing is showing up on my HR. Its been a week.
Yes, you still get your vacation. The amount you're paid may be reduced depending on how long you're off. Here's how it is under my contract.
Off less than 90 days= no reduction in vacation pay
Off 91-179 days= vacation pay reduced by 1/4
Off 180-270 days= vacation pay reduced by 1/2
Off more than 270 days= no vacation pay
