Last week I took my vacation my produce manager and co manager approved it. I had to work that Sunday then I had the 19th-26th off. Well it's Thursday I checked my paycheck and it is only 60 dollars I am freaking out because I have rent due Monday. I have Direct Deposit does vacation come on a separte check that I need to pick up or what? What do I need to do to get this fixed to make sure I get my pay?
it seems like your saying you worked 1 day of your vacation week if thats the case there should be 2 seperate checks. check at service desk see if a paper check got sent for vacation pay. also when you went on vacation someone prolly never told the person who does payroll that you went on vacation. so you never got put in for vacation so you wont get paid for it this week. let them know and you should ge paid for it next payday.
Just talk to your HR person. They or whoever does payroll will fix it if you're supposed to get paid.
Usually vacations are Sunday-Saturday, but it sounds like they gave you something else. You probably just got paid for the Sunday you worked and the rest will come next payday. that or whoever does payroll forgot. Just tell them you want to "cash out" your vacation and that you need the money now. I believe they can deposit it whevenever, but I'm not sure.
you got to sign the "time off log". there is not some kind of Payroll Fairy that knows when people are going away and need to get paid. It is your responsibility to sign the log or if there isnt a log at your store to write down in crayon and on scratch paper what days you want to use for vacation time and give it to some one who can enter it into the system. never assume other people give a rats ass about what you are doing b/c you are 'out of sight / out of mind' to them. its just a hard cruel fact of reality - i bet you will never have it happen to you again after this.
now - you need to go to the store manager and tell them the problem and see if (s)he will front you the money. GOOD LUCK!

O.M.G. thank you, THEDUDE! I cant tell you how many damn times I have to tell people Im not a damn mind-reader! And if you're not in my dept., I dont keep tract of your ass! LOL yes, you have to make sure you write your vaca's down. And your P.D.'s But if you really need the cash they can give you an advance,usually.
Ask for an advance, since it was her fault. Everyone makes mistakes, but usally the store will try to fix it. If you have to have the money now, they will take care of it by taking cash from the front and you just giving it back when your check comes in.
damn isnt cussing and i dont mind the occasional cuss word to make your point. but repetitive cussing is over the edge. If the HR screwed up - first I'd be pissed and I literally would go to her/him and say "hey can you cut me a personal check for my rent you dumb ass" to get my point across that she screwed me over then I would go to the store manager and explain.
