seriously,im 17 will be 18 in 2 months....

ive also smoked on breaks before on property but i stay out of sight, is it that big of a deal to kroger

depends not so much i think on what kroger thinks, as much as what that individual manager thinks

quit smoking it saves you money and you already know you're violating the law. if she knows you're underage she should write you up.  what you're doing reflects badly on the company and someone may believe your store sold you the smokes.

it's a lose lose for that kroger and you're just another easily replacable teenage employee.

depends, how are you getting the smokes. If you get them from the store and some one is allowing you to purchase underage you can be fired and so can the associate selling the smokes. It happened at my store several years ago. Messing with state laws and such.

Smoking when you are under age your employer cannot say anything unless you are on break or on the clock

If your off the clock AND out of uniform, they can't touch you
