I can usually understand all of the Black Friday hoopla. But what I would like to know is why in the hell did the coporations decide to do it on a holiday that's supposed to be spent with family and friends? It's bad enough that they skip it over and go straight to Christmas. I have a feeling that Thanksgiving won't be around anymore. Instead it will be called "corporate *******s want nothing but money."
I couldn't agree with you more. 'Holidays' in this country have become so completely perverted from what they were originally supposed to be about. And we the people haven't helped things by letting ourselves become like brain-washed sheep, marching by the millions into all these stores to buy cheap Chinese crap......the day after we were supposedly celebrating and being 'thank full' for all that we already have.
