I'm a kroger employee, I'm a grocery clerk I stock half of all the shelves in the store and work in the back. So I deal with a lot of people and what not. Been at this kroger for about a 1yr and two months.

I just got sick at 2am Saturday morning, nothing too terrible but with nasal allergies, getting dizzy, and a huge fever that accounts for a few migrains. I figured it would be best for me and the company to stay home. especially since every time I'd fall asleep I'd wake up after two hours because of the head pain.

So I call in tell them I can't make it to work, she said that's fine and I'm not sure (because I was too sick to remember) if she told me I'd need a doctors note to come back

Now at my store we just got two new managers, The top dog as I call it is on medical/vacation (had a surgery and then time to re-coop), and our one other manager that's been here for a while hasn't been heard of...or at least that's what the employees have been saying.  So it would make sense if she had asked because two other employees just called out as well (not for the same reasons though - well they all called out sick but you know what i mean)

ANYWAYS how many days can you miss without having to get a doctors note because I'm on day two (Sunday) (luckily wasn't posted for me to work today but still) and starting to get worried. I mean I'd like to know because if I don't have to I won't get up at 6am to do a walk-in appointment. haha. Could use some advice, or at least tell me where it is i can find a kroger policy on being sick, because I don't want to have to go un-berry wherever I stashed my kroger co. book they give at orientation.

Please help (it's already 5pm)

In case no one wants to read that here's the basic question: "how many sick days can you have before Kroger forces you to get a doctors note?"

I was required to give a doctor's notice before I could even clock in if I had to miss a day for any reason. Over a period of a year and a half, I missed 3 days total.

I would get a doctors excuse just in case they want to pull some crap.
