i wish jon flora would really take a look at the the so called "family" that maria fernandez at store 126 is falsely trying to charade the coorporate office higher ups with..The only family are the few buddies of hers that she chooses and the rest of the employees who are non hispanic are constantly belittled, verbally abused. and made to feel inadequate often attacking their family situation while you are in discussions with her..no holds barred...she has been heard calling caucasian women to their face that they are "menopausal" and her Pro hispanic overtones are constantly in view not only by employees but some supervisors also are aware of this..she tends to like white men but hates white women as we feel they..especially educated ones are a threat to her on the store level as well as coorporate level in which she has been heard making comment on several occassion about certain caucasian coorporate leaders after they have walked the store on different occassions ..she refers to hispanic females as her mijas.."little girls" meanwhile being nasty and abusive verbally to non hispanic females
there are many very hard working individuals in this store who make her shine on a daily basis and those are Never the ones she acknowledges but is quick to become nasty towards..the moral is not as people think she is very intimidateing to most
and her store buddies parade around and are let to boss others like they are untouchable and never work 1/2 as hard as most of us do yet get away with it mostly the 3 cultural council females she pow wows with on a regular basis
and maybe security should investigate the barage of giftcards she gives out to randomn hispanic people she used to know from store 610 customers to this day are still calling her to get more one lady in particular calls on a regular basis and several times has asked us if we can get her a giftcard like maria gives her,,if maria happens to be off that day
like one of the supervisors once said..they need to get rid of this woman its hard to have respect for somemone who doesnt respect you, treats you badly and also has no problem telling you that she buys her groceries at safeway,costco etc if the prices are cheaper..i would say thats a conflict of interest to encourage your people to shop at competition?? i mean really?..someone please help us at 126 ps she also like to hoard markdown product for herself

126 IS the ghetto welfare base..at the time she was made mgmt was the end 90s when minority quota and female quota for mgmt positions was needing to be met due to backlashes on inequality issues etc etc and education wasnt even a factor as long as you had the right color in which shes has no education except store education in which she proudly Boasts is all she needs etc..so she remains in this neighborhood due to the fact they need a spanish speaking mgr.she came from 610 which was a brand new Mercado store the only one of its kind in which she was named as being involved in the hireing of illegals and during her time in the store as a mgr immigration got wind and they let go of 66 illegals,,so tell me? how do you keep your job after that??knowingly hireing illegals and blaming it onyour store secretary?..she NEVER takes the blame for anything always blames others to save her own ass..she will give direction to her staff and if something goes wrong because of that direction..she will blame the person SHE told to do it
