apparently this policy doesn't pretain to the loafnjug office people. they are married to each other, most of them are related one way or another. do'nt dare contact HR they are the VP's family

We have a married couple in different departments.  I think we have siblings too, also in different departments.

Family members may work in the same store and even the same department even as long as one of them doesn't have any type of supervisory position over the other.

My stores Head produce clerk has his dad in his dept.  But he don't treat him any different and the to be as old as he is works his ass off!

This thing usually only applies if you have one family member or bf/gf who has authority over another. But if they're all on the same level, it's considered ok.

Our lead file clerk is the mother of our HR girl.  Head deli/bakery is sister of head night stock.  Had a frozen lead married to kitchen place lead.  Tons of nepotism and cronyism here.

Exactly: Happens like that every where, really. In all truth it shouldn't, but the reason it's permitted is because, as a manager, if you have a conflict with one that turns into the Hattfields and McCoys, you have the option of shooting them all instead of just one-----and with no repercussions from corporate.

Sucks, huh?
