Is it fair that a full time person from another can take front end hours if his department has no hours. He will be working as a cashier but when his department gets more hours he is going back to them. He has put 4people on call because of this. I have been working their longer but because he is full time he is higher than me. I need some advice before I become jobless.
What department does he usually work in? Drug/gm? Day grocery? It would have to be a small department because they can't cut full-time workers' hours in a department unless all the part-time hours are cut first.
If he is, then, politely ask him to go back to which he came. Say you don't want his kind there.
Or not. If whether he was wanted in that dept mattered, he wouldn't be there to begin with. His seniority gave him that power, and if he cared whether he was wanted, he wouldn't have taken the front end hours at all.

Nah, OP still should. It's best to put your emotions out there.
