Don't try to cut in front of me while I'm trying to push my 8-10 carts back into the store lobby. My carts are just as dangerous as a car in that situation.
Don't stop if they cut you off. If they "hit you" it's their fault and they would have no proof to the contrary, while you would possibly have them on camera causing the incident, if your store has one covering that part of the lot. Some call it karma.
In my parking lot they speed up when they see you instead of stopping. I ran into one such idiot a while ago. It was night and the crosswalk was clear. There was a car coming, but I figured that I had plenty of time since he was so far off, so I started to go. In the middle of the crosswalk, I heard him speed up, so I hurried to the lobby so that I would be clear of him. My carts had made it onto the crosswalk, but he stopped short just of hitting me, and then proceeded to honk his horn at me as if I had done something wrong.
People have to handle these situations on their own terms, but this is what I would do in the future:
Get that ****t rocket's plate number; CALL THE PO PO ON 'EM. Don't even clear it by management first, just pull that phone. Any one who comes that close to hitting me with a speeding car, far as I'm concerned, that's attempted murder.

I've had customers walk out from the store with their shopping carts and have no regard of my presence and zip right in in front of me. A few times I was so close to hitting someone as I was pushing carts just because they walked right in front of me like I wasn't there.
They only do when you have other carts in your hands that you are pushing in.
It drives me mad when I see people jam small carts into the big ones. Also the lazy people who just prop the whole cart up on the curb as opposed to walking 20 feet to the cart corral.
While I'm on the subject does anyone else absolutely loathe those electric motorized carts? Stupid things are always dying in the middle of the store, parking lot, etc.
