Pay Raise SW Local 455 (Houston)

Anyone know if this is gonna happen? they said the pay caps for part time were going up last july.  when i asked in july/august last year, they said you had to work another 6mo (at 40/wk) to get the raise.  took a while to get a straight answer from anyone when i asked before so i figured i'd check and see if anyone here knows anything before i start 'bothering' people.

Can you give us a copy of the current contract or perhaps when the deal is done?

look at your union contract. the pay scales are there. They also have their contract expiring this April and all future pay increases will be negociated for the next life of the contract. If you are a ble to get a copy of that contract ( and any future changes) I would like to have a copy of it .

I'm pretty sure that Local 75 Cincinnati / Dayton gets a pay raise the 1st week of March.  30¢ / hr more for me!  YIPPIE

Yep, the cap went up to 12.65 in July 1, 2012 and went up to 13.00 in January 6, 2013. If you want the contract is online at www.ufcw455.org. You'll have to register to get a login before you can view it, but it's there. Are you already capped out? If so you should be at 13.00 an hour. If you did cap out and aren't being paid correctly, ask your manager to look into it, or call HR. My pay got messed up once due to a glitch that happened when I transferred around the same time as the July raise and once I called HR it was fixed within a week and the paid me the retro pay that was owed. You're Union rep can also be of help.

Also that pay I mentioned above is only certain Full Time pay brackets. If you're part time you should be at 10.10. If you're in Fuel you're at 9.75. Night Stockers are at 13.35. Again check with HR or Union to get a better idea where you're suppose to be. You can also request a copy of the contract from your Union Rep or Steward.
